Co-worker wants to open a SOC business and asked me to join him.

I’m not sure really how this would work. But he pretty much wants me to help partner up in his start up. From what I’ve gathered this is pretty much an MSSP which exclusively provides SOC services to organizations.

The idea doesn’t sound too bad, but do these business actually work well and can by done by anyone? I’m currently a Sys admin with just a of experience but I’m pretty versatile in my skills and can do SOC level …
