Chfi,sans institute

Hey all good afternoon. I am wondering has anyone bought the chfi training? Is it worth it just the training not the cert? My school offers it for $300 and was just going to get it to learn basics etc. Also has anyone gone to sans institute and got the forensic or cybersecurity degree? Is it worth it there?
