Census questions are pretty invasive...

This is my first time posting here. Hope this is the right place to have this discussion? Received an email from the Census Bureau. It says "Your response is required by law". It came from [respond.acs@subscriptions.census.gov](mailto:respond.acs@subscriptions.census.gov) So it checks out as real. I consider this kind of participation as my civic duty. But where I really got stopped is the part where they ask such DETAILED questions about my income. What are your thoughts? Anyone else participating in this survey? …
