can skipfish scan IP addresses?

I need to figure out if skipfish can scan IP addresses, but it seems to only work for scanning websites. There's this option:
-F host=IP - pretend that 'host' resolves to 'IP'
But I haven't figured out how to use it properly. Thank you in advance!
