Can I privately use my phone as webcam?

I need to record both myself and my software with OBS for tutorials for my job. I am aware, not a really private thing... but I still want to reduce the data collection because, see, I don't have a webcam and I planned on using the phone camera, but all apps like DroidCam etc. either collect data or include third party trackers.
