Can I avoid credit bureaus entirely, or is it not possible?

I've never used any form of credit in my life. The most I have is a debit card. Does Equifax & co. have as much as on me they would if I'd actually used credit, or can I theoretically avoid them selling (and leaking) huge amounts of data about me by just... never using credit, as difficult as that would be?
