Calculating cyber ROI

I would like to start an open conversation around the way cybersecurity budgets are managed and distributed.

From personal experiences consulting large corporates in cybersecurity, I have realised that there is little to no accountability when it comes to measuring the actual return on cybersecurity investments.

Especially directed at senior profiles (both technical and managerial), I’m wondering if you are calculating in any way such ROI.
Concrete and measurable KPIs obviously help, but I think it’s also time …
