Is the notion that https is better than no https still valid? I see many browsers dropping support for ssl and tls 1 and yet still happily support http sites. I know the mechanisims are outdated but are they not better than just plain http? I now cant use intel AMT on my old box in https but will easily use http since the frimware is old and used TLS1.
