Recently I visited a hotel whose Wi-Fi network was not secured with a password and I made the mistake of using it through my whole stay. When opening certain websites I would get warned by Firefox of an unknown security certificate (SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER). Those were websites I normally have no problem with and the problem disappeared when I switched to my phone's hotspot.
