Boxcryptor not giving refund for paid service

It's not news that Boxcryptor got sold to Dropbox, and they are terminating accounts. What is perhaps not widely known is they are apparently not offering any refunds for paid time that is canceled. My account was paid thru June, and they are canceling in January.
