Blocking Keyboard App Internet Access for Privacy.

I'm trying to ensure my keyboard app is blocked entirely from Internet Access for obvious privacy reasons. At the moment, I'm using the built in Samsung keyboard which I know is notoriously bad. I think I've blocked it via AdGuard but I'm not entirely sure. Is there an easy way to confirm this?
I've tried various FOSS keyboards but I haven't found one that works well enough.
