Bit locker + Veracrypt

I use bit locker full encryption on the whole disk and use File based veracrypt Data mounts depending on sensitive data, top secret gets 10000 PIM too.
Are there long term disadvantages of Double encryption, is it a false sense of security that I have or does double encryption render data more prone to hacking ? I'm just an average …
