If you advocate for digital privacy in this digital era, most people, or the average person, would say something along the lines of "But I don't have anything to hide", "Everything is getting tracked anyway".

Furthermore, people might even look at you as a "shady person" or a criminal, just because you care about privacy, while "everyone else" is nonchalant about it. Since "everyone else" is okay with it, privacy advocates seem to stand out.
