All I've seen are basic user-level introductions to what an AV does and the few papers I found delve into details of a specific aspect of the AV or talk about reverse engineering. I want a comprehensive resource to understand the different layers/modules in an AV. Are there books that discuss this? Maybe even a chapter dedicated to AVs in a general cyber-security book.

Thanks.
