Are there any parental controls that can see vanish mode messages?

My friend thinks their parents can see messages sent in Instagram through vanish mode. I just wanted to check and see if there any parental control softwares that can do this? All I know is instagram vanish mode messages can only be opened by using a phone (or on a VM like bluestacks)..and they dissapear once read, which is why I didn't think this was possible. I don't know much about parental control …
