Are home wifi security cameras a privacy hazard?

I want to setup a few security cameras but i know that because of surveillance capitalism it will be extremely hard to find ones that do not share/sell my camera footage. Also i have to think about hackers which can monitor when i am home so i have a few questions:

1. Which brand do you recommend to be most private? Or the other way which one you absolutely you DO NOT recommend?
