Anyone else just want good old 2000s-10s level of privacy back?

I finally got to the point of getting ads on social for that doesn't interest me and doesn't relate to my browsing history, and it feels closer to home. It seems my phone no longer detects when I think about repainting my room by playing me youtube ads of Lowes sales ads for 15% off paint.

All i use is a PC brave with extentions and No \\/pn, never logged into social or google.
