Any recommended yubikey rollout / implementation guides for remote/tech companies?

I've read the FAQs on Yubico's website, Gitlabs employee facing docs (which are always excellent) but i'm looking for how companies handle for eg.

* Storing the key - expect everyone to put on keyring, or use nano one and leave in laptop?
