Any recommendation on which encryption type i should get for USB's SSD's etc?

Not really caught up with which encryption tool is the best today. I use bitlocker but i hear its bad so i want recommendation for which type encryption is best for:

Internal/External SSD's

USB's

or if i should purchase a specific USB
