Any career advice for a decision like this?

This might be the first time I've asked Reddit for career advice, but it seems fitting to ask professionals in this sub what either side of this decision could entail for someone like me.
Just as a start, I've had about a 1.5 years experience at a security professional, mostly working at a SOC analyst. With a bit of IR, IH, thrown in as well.
