Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

There is this app called App Manager which allows blocking trackers inside proprietary apps (root). So I was thinking at this point isn't it better to:

1. Go MicroG to remove GServices
2. Use proprietary apps and block the trackers inside instead of strictly going FOSS

With the exception of services like Facebook/Instagram etc, that should work. What do you guys think, any advantages sticking completely to foss apps?

android app apps block blocking called etc facebook foss instagram isn manager point privacy remove root services thinking trackers work
