Android Phone Modding is Getting Harder and Harder. This is a Very Bad News. (And Maybe the Solution is GSI?)

Like my last post said, Modded Android phones are by far the only affordable and practical privacy-respecting handheld computer. However, three things are happening now:

1.Google is making some structural changes to the Android itself, which limits the usability and increase the modding difficulty. (Like Virtual AB Partition Structure etc)

2.Some phone vendors are releasing less and less opensourced system internal contents (like Linux Kernel Source, etc). This makes a "build from scratch" custom OS hard if not possible. Without …
