Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

I'm trying to learn what data Android Auto collects. And whether it's different between a preinstalled system or an aftermarket stereo install. All the comments about it here are deleted, and news articles just say "it collects some data, but nothing to worry about!" which isn't helpful.

Does anyone have any sources? I am trying to determine if the loss in privacy is worth the features. I'm not completely de-googled so I don't know what difference it makes.
