Amusing USB Stick story

I attended a well-known conference in San Francisco back in 2015. Among all the SWAG was a USB stick from Cobalt Robotics. Looked over the info and decided I didn't need it, so I formatted it and gave to my son. I stopped getting email from them about 5 years later.
