I've used Life360 in the past as a safety measure (if my kid gets into a car accident, or is lost, etc. --I can open the app and see where he is. I don't use it to snoop on him)

but there are a lot of privacy concerns with it.

Is there a commercial (or OS) app that allows for the same functionality, but which doesn't sell user data to insurance companies, etc.?
