Alternatives to PayPal for casual online shopping? Virtual credit cards?

I am thinking that as I switch my life to more privacy focused, I don't want to use paypal anymore. I don't like that all vendors that I shop with get to see my email address, nor do I want to have to sign my paypal up to some random email address that I'll never use that will get deleted because of my inactivity.
