After reading the TOS for my safe, I want to dump the firmware.

in the terms of services for the safe I'm using is terminology that indicates there is a master override code to the safe. I would like to go about dumping the firmware and examining it with a hex editor to locate and change this override code, should it exist. What's the best way to go about this?
