Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

With Apple coming out with big news last week with the Advanced data protection for iCloud (aka end to end encryption), I'm curious to know if we have anything similar already or lined up for Android that is "native"? Is it even possible from an OS point of view?
How effective E2EE is in case of iCloud remains to be seen but I'm a lot of people do not want to get on the Apple ecosystem just cuz E2EE.
