AD security post ransomware :(

Hi, my college got hit my Lorenz ransomware. It's been a fun week. As i'm sure many of you know, schools dont have the biggest IT budgets so we're responding with a bare bones team.

We have an on-prem Exchange with an Exch relay and AD sync server - i think with bidirectional sync - to our o365 tenant.
