Acronis on new SSD - a potential threat?

I just mindlessly ordered a new NVMe from Amazon (Crucial P3 Plus M.2 2280). However, after opening the package my eyes fell upon a sticker that is meant to make me comfortable, but did the polar opposite for me: It says "Exclusive Edition: Acronis Cyber Protected Home Office" and makes me wonder why I should need that. Sounds like bloat to me and like nothing that could add anything but backdoors.

What are your opinions on that?
