2FA - I want to prevent losing access if I lose my phone. Any tips?

But what does this actually mean? If I could export the "keys" (whatever that is) with a different app, does this mean that if I lose my phone im still ok?
I am trying to find a way to still have access to my 2FA in case I lose my phone. The only good desktop cross platform app …
