When you visit a website they display banner with an option to select cookie prefrences. They say something like 'in order to comply with GDPR we are required by law to notify our users of cookies we use on our website'. If we have this law in EU, why doens't it extend to applications download from Play store or App store? As far as I know, the apps track users differently and not necessarily use cookies.
