Why is Android Firefox Nightly frequently connecting to location.services.mozilla.com even with Location disabled in phone, app settings, and permissions?

NextDNS logs are showing connection attempts to location.services.mozilla.com periodically while I'm browsing the web, sometimes as often as every 20 to 30 minutes.
- I have my phone's Location and GPS turned off.
- I have set Location to Blocked within the "Site Permissions" section of Firefox Nightly settings.
- I have disabled Location permission entirely for the Firefox Nightly app within Android app permissions.
Yet the log entries keep appearing.
