Why do users don't take the privacy compromise which comes with every browser extension seriously? Every browser extension at least needs this permission: "Read and change all your data on all websites" which includes sharing all your browsing histor

I have read discussions related to this topic before and checked out other subs too but sadly, didn't have any luck finding many technical answers or a productive discussion regarding this. Most of them were like, "check developer's reputation", "it's a tradeoff you have to pay' and so on. But I didn't find any serious discussion around this topic on this sub so here we go:
