I really need to switch away from my Gmail, and I do have a website domain already. When I looked into previously recommended services like ProtonMail and Tutanora, both seemed to be having some controversies, so I wanted to see what people would recommend in 2024.

I'd also like something that can be easily bridged with Thunderbird and preferably allows for multiple addresses, though I'm also concerned with affordability so I won't be too picky.
