We have Crowdstrike for our EDR. Can we use it as our primary SIEM?

What are the pros and cons? Is it just cost based on number of devices? Is it any good with network device logs?

I was also considering using Security Onion for non-desktop/server devices if CS is cost prohibitive or not ideal.
