Threads.. Are you serious?

So threads became a thing, and people are excited about this app for some odd reason. Sometimes I feel like people have a shorter memory than a goldfish, I mean did we forget about Meta? Their breach of privacy, outrageous collection of data, and the utter carelessness with how they store them should be more than enough of an incentive to not touch Threads even with a 10-foot pole..
