The Amazon shopping app is using our mic without our knowledge?!?! and might be recording us too!

So guys I recently got the android 12 update which now shows a green dot whenever an app is using our microphone or camera. And to shockingly, i was using the Amazon app when i noticed the green dot was on for quite some time and when I checked it said mic used by amazon.
Idk what or why it happened but apparently amazon is doing some sneaky shit..
Ps- I never used tts or voice search so idk why …
