Hello, my wife and I are trying to choose our new car insurance (in Germany/Netherlands). One option is to get a car telemetry box which gets us a much better premium, but I am pretty uneasy about the privacy implications. So I wanted to discuss it with you folks.

The data which is supposedly collected is as follows:

- Braking and acceleration behavior
- Cornering behavior
- Speed
- Time of day
- Route criteria, etc.
