Staying at an Airbnb - What do you do once you arrive

My family is staying at some Airbnbs for the first time this year. I'm strong in networking but wondering if anyone has a checklist they follow when they arrive to find the cameras on the network? What about cameras or listening devices that only have local storage, are not on the network, and may be hidden?

Just looking to protect my families privacy. Any suggestions would be helpful.
