SIEM/ESM choice

I have to look at the current market choices in order to change or keep our current SIEM (splunk). For professionals who work in SOCs, what SIEM/ESM/log management are you using, and what is your opinion about it in absolute terms or in comparison with other options you dealt with?

As a bonus, I am interested in arcsight ESM, since we got an offer for that.
