Working as a security engineer in a company with a fairly new Cybersecurity team. Seems like we get treated as additional Help Desk employees BY our company's Help Desk. Not taking escalating tickets when only Cybersecurity can handle it, more so being on the Help Desk email chain, sitting through Help Desk meetings where they discuss their tickets (we have a separate set of meetings to discuss tickets that affect us and vice versa).
