Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

Is there a way for me to keep apps separate to avoid possible malware? Specifically, Weibo, Weixin/WeChat, and Douyin/TikTok, but reasonably Instagram as well. I'm not a fan of these but it's difficult to avoid them entirely. I feel like it would be much easier to do this on a computer, but I have no experience doing something like this on a phone. Funnily enough, I'm using a Huawei/Honor running Android, so I'm lacking privacy in general on my phone.
