Privacy keyboard for android

Before I begin, I would like to apologise for my amateurish knowledge. I am not an expert in this field and am not familiar with F-Droid or other app sources outside of the Play Store. The reason for my post is the search for an alternative keyboard for Android. I used to use Gboard, but now I want to de-google my smartphone. Are there any alternatives in the Play Store that emphasise privacy?
