I'm a student trying to break into the field of computer forensics, so this will be my first certification. Unfortunately, I can't afford the $7k+ in SANS training, but I can afford the exam itself and maybe a single practice exam (which comes out to around $1.4k as I understand it)

However, I managed to find affordable copies of the official books on eBay. I understand it's against SANS policy or whatever, and some people may be against it here, …
