Recently, in post-quantum cryptography migration, it has been shown that an IND-1-CCA-secure key encapsulation mechanisms (KEM) is required for replacing an ephemeral Diffie-Hellman (DH) in widely-used protocols, e.g., TLS, Signal, and Noise.
