We have a CEO, and occasionally employees will get smishing attempts from an incorrect number pretending to be our CEO.

Recently we had a new hire, less than a week in .. and he received a smishing attempt along with others in the company. How did the attackers get his phone number so quickly and associate him with the CEO?
