Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

The ACLU of Massachusetts today launched a campaign to ban the sale and trade of cellphone location information. The law would allow companies to collect location information with user permission, and allow them to use the location data to provide users with services. But it would fully ban them from selling or trading that data to third parties. The law would be the first of its kind.
