Is the CISSP worth it if you want to be a Security Engineer?

Thinking about getting the CISSP, my current role is Cyber security analyst(first cs job and been here for around 3 months but I've been in IT jobs for awhile) and I plan to become an engineer once I get a bit more experience under my belt and learn PowerShell/python.
