Is the CCSP worth it?

I am currently going through CCSP training that is being paid for by my employer. It appears to be more of a managerial rather than a technical cert. Also, I'm not a fan of multiple-choice tests and even if I passed the exam I don't think it would be a good indicator of my actual expertise in cloud security. Does anyone else have the CCSP cert and has it boosted your career or improved your actual knowledge of CS?
